For many, visiting Nan’s place brings back wonderful memories of hot scones with melted butter.
The smells of baking would greet us as we walked up the path to her front door, where we would be met by her beaming smile and smothered with loving hugs, and most of all who could forget the special treats she would make appear magically from her pantry.
While times have changed, the love and care that goes into home baking will never be replaced.
